Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.4% January 1–Monday
MOSCOW, Jan 13 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation was 0.4% from January 1 through Monday, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The millet price decreased by 0.4%, lamb, pork, fat cottage cheese, canned vegetables for baby food, rye bread, buckwheat, pasta, chocolate and hard candies by 0.2%.
Prices for chicken eggs increased by an average of 0.3%, for vodka by 0.6% and for chicken meat by 0.7%.
Prices for fruits and vegetables increased by an average of 2.4%. Tomatoes rose in price the most, by 7.7%.
Gasoline prices increased 0.4%, and diesel fuel prices increased by 0.1%.
